Marc Hotel Gili Trawangan ★★★★

Location was excellent. We really appreciated the text we received prior to our visit explaining info about the hotel and how to get there from the boat. Staff were very welcoming, approachable and lovely. House keeping were so efficient. Hotel is very clean and can arrange bike rentals for you. Restaurant is very nice with a fantastic range of choice.

We felt the room was a little small as we were there 4 days. There was nowhere to hang out wet clothes to dry and we had no window to open.

Comfortable Breakfast was amazing

It was a very central hotel, perfect location to food spots and jigjt life, also very close to the port which made it perfect for moving luggage around. The room was very clean and modern, very happy with the friendly staff.

On one night you could here music being played from the establishment next door which when on until very early hours in the morning (i.e 3am). However I understand that there is not much the hotel can do about that, it may be something to consider if you're not into night life and want to sleep in early.

Lovely rooms, polite staff, not far from dock. Not expensive.

The wine was not good at all. The infinity pool glass could do with a clean and all the mosaic tiles were coming off the pool sides and floor.

We were given a room which smelled very bad but the staff were helpful and immediately moved us to another room upon request. Excellent staffs and live music at night was awesome.

Central location , short walk from the Port. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

The stairs at the entry were spaced too far apart.

Pool facilities could have been better

Location is great in the heart of Gili t and only couple of minutes to port so no need to use horses.

Bathroom set up was very weird. Rooms were quite small

The hotel is comfortably located close to the port and all the action. The hotel is well designed and the breakfast was great.

Although the hotel is well designed and quite new, our room could do with some minor renovations.

The staff are all so friendly at this hotel. They made a great effort for my partner's birthday.

Unfortunately, I cancelled my original booking and made a new one so that we could upgrade to a chamberlain room that was bigger with a fridge. When we arrived we were checked into a double room and it wasn't until I checked by booking near the end of our stay that I realised this. So this mistake was partly my own fault but it should have been recognised by the hotel also.

The staff were wonderfull. The property was well located. Very clean and modern.

We had a family emergency where we were in a situation we may have had to cancel our entire holiday. 2 days after the free cancellatin expired we contacted the property explaining our situation and they refused any refund. Greed over empathy never the best policy! The hotel was great but we came for a tropical experience. Our room was in the basement and was dark and with no view or window you could open. We felt very claustrophobic in our room. It was a bit like a confined cell! The pool was great but there was really only enough space for 5 people max to lie around it. Therefore just have to sit around the restaurant if you cant lie by the pool. No beach lounges either. Anyway we ended up walking out a day early and going to another property at extra expense we found was much more enjoyable. Dont get us wrong alot of positives but not our cup of tea accomodation wise for a tropical island.

Amazing position, beautiful comfy rooms, staff were so helpful and accommodating, breakfast was good, they did our laundry, the pool has a beautiful view, bicycles we got from the hotel, they need a bit of work on them but did the job!

I loved this hotel. The location is unbeatable for Gilli. The staff was very kind and accommodating.. I would highly recommend

Location and the pool area

Perfect location - around a 5 minute walk from where the ferry drops you and on the main strip of restaurants, bars and the night food market. The reception staff are amazing, always got a smile on their face and happy to help with anything you need. The bed was honestly the most comfortable bed and having a large TV in the room helped when a storm hit! The food is great as well which is a bonus. If your staying on Gili T - stay here!!

Honestly it was such a fantastic stay but if I had to say 1 thing it would be to have proper lounge beds round the pool

It is exactly as the pictures show. The restaurant food was yum (but we didn’t get breakfast included, Price was a bit high, and there are lots of other options around). The rooms have blackout curtains! The pool is incredible!

Dont let the hotel arrange your boat, they put you on the cheapest one and its terrible (late, no air con) The pool is nice but its over chlorinated, our skin stung after going in There is a VERY LOUD nightclub nextdoor and it kept us awake till 3am on the Monday night- we could clearly understand the songs in our room! The rooms are as pictured, however they often smell of sewage! Its disgusting The restaurant is terrible, we were served raw pizza and when we complained they took the pizza and cooked it more however it was still raw Overall, id expect the price to be a bit less for what we ended up getting

Service was good and attentive. Staff realized my birthday was a day before and managed to decorate the bed with swan towels n flower petals with their happy birthday wishes. Rooms were clean with good facilities. Location was central and the dive shop was just beside the hotel. Water from the basin had a salty taste though.

The room smelt and I feel like there is a problem with the sewage in the hotel. The pool wasn’t ideal either.
